Bows are long-rangedweapons that use muscle power to fire (although the Strength attribute has no effect on damage). They are similar to crossbows and guns in use; all three use the shooting skill and related hunter skills. Character stats are applied the same way for each type, although the item stats will be different for each type.
Hunter is a very good career in WOW Classic. It is the only one with the pet and the farthest range, the most powerful career in the wild PVP. Of course, the premise of these is that you need to have very powerful long-range weapons, in order to maximize the advantages of Hunter. R/classicwow: A community for World of Warcraft: Classic fans. From the article I just read agility is the way to go. 1 agi = 2 ranged attack power for hunters and 1 melee attack power for hunters as well as a small percentage of crit icy veins sais 53 agility is 1 percent crit. Sep 26, 2019 Hunters with this crossbow and their full tier 2 set reach the highest power spike that they will ever experience in WoW Classic. Stat wise your best available melee setup will still use the Core Hound Tooth and Brutality Blade from Molten Core, but for occasional melee hits and for PvP, you will want to go for the Ashkandi, Greatsword of the.
Acquiring and Upgrading
With one exception, unlike guns, players cannot craft bows. Bows must be bought, looted or earned from quests.
A bow may be enhanced by installing an engineer-crafted scope on it.
Training
Back when World of Warcraft first came out, only a few races started with the bow skill, the other hunters had to train how to use bows from a weapon master. This has since changed and now all hunters know how to shoot a bow from the start.
Ammo
Bows normally use arrows as ammunition and even shared with crossbows, however, to make things easier range weapons no longer require actual ammunition to fire anymore.
Quiver
A quiver is a bag item which holds only arrows. Quivers were considered very useful to hunters, who burn through substantial quantities of ammo, and whose [Auto Shot] ability receives the full benefit of the increased rate of fire.
With ammunition no longer needed quivers were removed from the game or turned into normal bags.
